Demonstrating his enduring commitment to his alma mater, Amrit Sagar Chopra, an alumnus of the 1961 batch of the Mining Engineering Department at IIT (ISM) Dhanbad, has donated ₹1 crore toward the institute’s upcoming Centenary Celebrations.

The cheque was formally presented during Chopra’s recent visit to Bengaluru. It was received by Prof. R. M. Bhattacharjee, Dean of International Relations & Alumni Affairs, and Mritunjay Sharma, Assistant Registrar (IRAA).
