ED Raids Tejashwi Yadav’s Residence in Land-for-Jobs Scam Investigation. In connection with the land-for-jobs scam investigation, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) is conducting raids at Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar Tejashwi Yadav’s residence in New Friends Colony, Delhi.

The IRCTC scam is also being investigated, and searches are being undertaken across 15 locations in three states, including the home of Abu Dojana, an aide of RJD politician Lalu Prasad Yadav, in Patna.

Lalu Yadav’s properties and those of his family are among the targets of the ED searches, taking place in Mumbai, Uttar Pradesh, and Bihar. Before the raids, the CBI had questioned former Bihar CM Rabri Devi and RJD leader Lalu Prasad Yadav on the land-for-jobs scandal.

The individuals involved in the scandal were allegedly granted jobs in the railroads in exchange for selling or giving land tracts to the Yadav family and its affiliates at a discount, according to sources. Prasad, his wife, former Bihar chief minister Rabri Devi, and 14 others have been charged by the CBI with criminal conspiracy and violating the Prevention of Corruption Act. They have all been summoned to court on March 15.

The ED case was initiated based on the CBI complaint and is being investigated under the criminal provisions of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act.
