Massive Fire After Truck Collision Near Jaipur Petrol Pump Claims multiple lives
A devastating fire broke out early Friday morning near a petrol pump on Ajmer Road in Jaipur, Rajasthan, after a truck collided with other vehicles. The incident, which occurred around 5:30 am, led to the ignition of a CNG tanker parked near the petrol pump, resulting in a massive blaze. At least one person has been confirmed dead, and authorities fear additional casualties.

Fire Engulfs Multiple Vehicles
The fire quickly spread, engulfing several vehicles parked in the vicinity, including cars and trucks. Eyewitnesses reported seeing thick black smoke rising into the sky, visible from several kilometers away. Rescue teams promptly arrived at the scene to douse the flames and transport victims to nearby hospitals.
Station House Officer (SHO) Manish Gupta from Bhankrota police station shared preliminary details, stating that the truck involved in the collision was carrying a chemical, potentially exacerbating the intensity of the fire.
Rescue and Relief Operations
Efforts are ongoing to extinguish the blaze, with multiple fire engines deployed to the site. Victims with burn injuries have been rushed to hospitals for treatment, while rescue teams continue to search for others who may have been affected.
Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma visited the hospital to meet with the injured and assess the situation. Meanwhile, local authorities have launched an investigation to determine the sequence of events that led to the tragedy.
This incident follows a similar tragedy earlier in the week in Rajasthan’s Nagaur district, where two truck drivers lost their lives after their vehicles caught fire following a collision. Such incidents highlight the need for stringent safety measures on highways to prevent loss of life and property.
