Godrej Clinches Luxury Housing Plots in Gurugram
In a significant real estate move, Godrej Properties has secured the development rights for two opulent residential plots in Gurugram, forecasting a revenue potential of a staggering ₹3,100 crore.
Emerging as the top contender in a competitive e-auction, Godrej clinched both plots, which spread across approximately 2.76 acres & 5.15 acres, specifically located in the elite neighborhood flanking the Golf Course Road.
The Luxury Housing Surge
India’s luxury housing sector is witnessing an unprecedented uptick. Spurred by an increasing affluent class and post-pandemic housing preferences, lavish homes equipped with amenities such as personal spas and concierge services are in high demand. In fact, 2022 recorded the sale of an impressive 65,700 upscale residences, as highlighted by statistics from Anarock, a leading real estate consultancy.

Renowned for its premium real estate allure, Gurugram’s Golf Course Road locale boasts projects by realty behemoth DLF. Illustrating the area’s draw, DLF remarkably exhausted its luxury housing inventory in a mere 72 hours this past March, raking in over ₹8,000 crore.
While Godrej Properties already boasts a luxury footprint in the heart of New Delhi’s shopping district, this new Gurugram acquisition further solidifies its dominance in the luxury housing market.
