Meanwhile, the Singhanias sought anticipatory bail from the Allahabad High Court, buying more time as they shifted locations daily to evade authorities.

The breakthrough came when Nikita accidentally made a call to one of her close relatives. This singular lapse allowed police to trace her location through the mobile tower data. A team swiftly moved to her PG accommodation in Gurugram’s Rail Vihar, where she was detained.
