IT Raids Target Utkarsh Coaching Institutes Across Four Cities
The Income Tax (IT) department carried out raids on Thursday at 19 locations of Utkarsh Coaching Institutes across India, including premises in Jodhpur, Jaipur, Indore, and Prayagraj. The operation is part of an investigation into alleged tax evasion related to coaching fees.

Focus on Jodhpur Locations
According to sources, the IT department had gathered credible inputs before initiating the raids. In Jodhpur alone, 16 locations linked to the coaching institute were targeted. The remaining raids took place at one location each in Jaipur, Indore, and Prayagraj.
Seizure of Devices and Documents
During the operation, IT officials seized mobile phones belonging to individuals associated with the institute. Documents discovered on the premises were thoroughly examined as part of the investigation.
The raids began at approximately 10 a.m. while classes were in session at several centers. The presence of IT teams at these locations drew significant attention from students and staff.
The IT department has not yet disclosed specific findings from the raids. However, the action underscores a growing focus on alleged financial irregularities in the education sector, particularly concerning coaching fees.
The investigation continues as authorities examine seized materials to establish the extent of any tax evasion. Further details are expected to emerge as the probe progresses.
