Applicants are not required to send or submit any documents, including the confirmation page, via post, email, fax, or in person to the NTA. The process is entirely online.
What If I Miss Session 1?
Students who do not register for the January session can still apply for the April session when the application portal reopens.
Exam Slot Allocation and Centre Details
Can Candidates Select Exam Dates or Slots?
The date, shift, and slot of the examination are allotted randomly by a computer to ensure fairness in the normalisation process. Therefore, candidates cannot choose their preferred exam date or time.
Is It Possible to Change the Examination Centre?
Once the city of the examination centre is allotted, it cannot be changed under any circumstances. Candidates are advised to fill in their preferences carefully during the registration process.

Can Application Details Be Corrected?
The NTA allows a one-time correction facility for selected fields in the application form. A public notice will be issued regarding the correction window, providing candidates an opportunity to rectify errors.
Can an Application Be Canceled?

Academic Requirements and Fee Payment
Mandatory Subjects for JEE Main 2025
Candidates appearing for JEE Main 2025 are required to have studied five subjects in their Class 12 examinations, with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics being mandatory.
Guidelines for Foreign Nationals
Foreign national candidates, including OCI/PIO, must enter “000000” in the pin code field while filling out their address details.
