An elderly lady was pushed to her death in Godda, and three individuals have been arrested by the Jharkhand Police for their involvement in the crime. The accused, Subhash Mandal, Ranjit Mandal, and Pappu Mandal, had attacked Murari Singh, the victim’s son, and the woman came to his rescue. The incident occurred on March 7 in the village of Neema, under the Balbadda police station area of the district, during a dispute between the two parties under the influence of alcohol.
The superintendent of police, Nathu Singh Meena, formed a team to investigate the matter and take action after learning that an elderly woman had been killed by unruly youths when she tried to stop them from drinking. The arrests were made based on their findings.
The incident highlights the dangers of alcohol-fueled disputes, especially in rural areas where such incidents are common. The tragedy has shocked the local community and underscores the need for more awareness and education about responsible drinking.
The police have taken swift action in this case, and justice will be served. It is a reminder to all citizens to be vigilant and report any incidents of violence or wrongdoing to the authorities immediately
