Massive fire guts 15 shops in Dhanbad, Jharkhand, causing huge losses. However, thankfully, no one was injured in the blaze that broke out on Monday afternoon. The incident occurred in the Kanta Toli market area of the city, which is a busy commercial hub. According to eyewitnesses, thick black smoke billowed out of the shops as the flames spread rapidly.
Firefighters rushed to the spot and managed to contain the blaze after an hour-long operation. However, by that time, the fire had destroyed several shops and their goods. An investigation into the cause of the fire is currently underway.
Shop owners expressed their shock and anguish over the incident. Many of them had invested their life savings in their businesses and are now left with nothing. They urged the government to provide them with financial aid to help them get back on their feet.
