Nadda Criticizes JMM-Congress-RJD Alliance in Jharkhand, Citing ‘Selfish Motives’
BJP President Accuses Coalition of Hindering Development and Promoting Corruption
In a recent address at a poll rally in Sindri, Dhanbad district, BJP President Jagat Prasad Nadda criticized the ruling coalition in Jharkhand, comprising the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM), Congress, and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD). He alleged that the alliance was formed out of “selfish motives” and accused it of promoting dynastic politics and appeasement for vote bank politics.

Nadda asserted that the coalition is “anti-tribal, anti-farmer, and anti-Dalit,” and claimed it fosters corruption and hinders development in the state. He specifically accused Chief Minister Hemant Soren of obstructing development initiatives introduced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Addressing concerns about infiltration, Nadda alleged that the current government is facilitating such activities. He stated that if the BJP is elected to power, it would enact legislation to prevent the transfer of land to the offspring of infiltrators who marry tribal women.

Highlighting alleged financial irregularities, Nadda accused the Hemant Soren administration of involvement in several scams, including a ₹4,000 crore Jal Jeevan Mission scam, a ₹5,000 crore mining scam, and a ₹236 crore land scam.
Nadda emphasized the need for a “double-engine” government—referring to the same party governing both the state and the center—to accelerate development in Jharkhand. He urged voters to support the BJP in the upcoming elections to bring about this change.
The JMM-Congress-RJD alliance, currently governing Jharkhand, has faced criticism from opposition parties, particularly the BJP, over issues related to governance and development. The upcoming elections are expected to be a closely contested battle between these political entities.
