In the wee hours of Saturday morning, tragedy struck in Ranchi as a speeding car collided with a scooter, resulting in the death of two individuals and one person sustaining serious injuries.
The accident took place near Anjuman Plaza under the Lower Bazar police station area. The deceased, identified as Mohammad Shamshad and Mohammad Zaid, along with the injured Zikra Parveen, were all returning home after attending a wedding function at the Anjuman Plaza banquet hall. The car, a Hyundai Creta, was headed towards Albert Ekka Chowk from Ratan Talkies Chowk when it hit the scooter.
